I am 68 and in decent shape. For over two years I walked with a limp and had constant pain in my left knee, bone on bone. I played sports but became limited as to what I could do because of the pain. After Dr. Bhagia performed a total knee replacement on my left knee - my first surgery ever, I was amazed at the recovery time. I had some pain the first day but that was it. I was walking up and down stairs with a single crutch the next day, and three days later no crutch….but using the railings. Within 9 days I was back to dancing! Two weeks I was back to looking for shells on the beach. At 6 weeks I was able to play doubles pickleball, and 8 weeks to the day of surgery, played my first softball game but needed a runner after batting. At 11 weeks I was able to start running for myself. I have heard horror stories from my senior friends who have had like surgeries, and they cannot believe the progress. The swelling is almost gone at three months and as soon as it is I should be running full steam.
I highly recommend Dr. Bhagia!!!!

This is the second time I had the pleasure of coming to the ARC Orthopedic Group. Both times I saw Dr. Nicolas Vardiabasis, and I'm glad I did.
Firstly, this practice is great. Not only is the office outfitted with the most advanced equipment for diagnostics, they have a great support staff too. It's hard to ignore a medical operations support staff when evaluating a practice as a whole. I find toxic people will infect a good office. Fortunately, this office employs some really great folks; all pleasant, helpful and competent professionals.
Sports medicine is a notch above your general Ortho practice, and for goods reason. Besides the education, they cater to all folks, including us 'older weekend warriors'. I swim, I ski and I hike. And I do all of those sports like a pack of banshee's are chasing me and closing in!
Nicolas Vardiabasis is a gem. A caring and educated specialist with fabulous bedside manner. Weather it's bone spurs, arthritis, replacement surgery, hips, elbow knees or shoulders, he can fix you up. Currently, I need maintenance and responsible self-care in governing my training. But in the future, when bone meets bone, I know who to comer and see.

Love this practice - have had two hip replacements and had a full knee replacement about 3.5 months ago. Dr Bhagia always stays on top of new techniques and procedures - continuous improvement is what he and his staff practice.

Excellent professional staff. Dr, Bhagia was amazing. He explained my knee replacement surgery to me in detail. Was very compassionate and understood my concerns and made me feel at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Bhagia and would definitely go to him again for my other knee replacement.

Dr. Bhahia does a great job explaining your options and I appreciated his honesty. I do think an area of improvement would be not to over schedule patients since I had to wait over an hour to be seen. Not happy about that, but Dr. Bhahia took his time with me and the visit ended on a better note than how it started.
